The edifice of the Mondkar group of farms was laid down via the conception of MKM Farms. The business was started with a modest capacity of 12,000 broiler birds.

Ventured into the avenue of integration and simultaneously increased the capacity to 1,00,000 placements of broiler birds per month. Began the wholesale supply of live birds in the local markets of Raigad district.

Initiated the parent breeder project with a humble capacity of 4200 female birds in lay along with an in-house brooding facility as well as a hatchery unit. Sold chicks in the open market and also placed our own chicks in the integration arm of the business.

Increased the capacity to 5600 female birds in lay

Brooding and Growing Sheds were developed to take care of two batches of parent female birds; increased capacity to 7,000 female birds in lay.

Increased capacity to 11,000 female birds in lay.

Increased the capacity of hatchery to four double setters (1,37,000 total capacity) and two hatchers (44,000 total capacity) resulting in a “chicks producing capacity” of 2,00,000 chicks per month.

Increased capacity of brooding facility for rearing of three parent batches of 10,000 each.

Increased capacity to 18,000 female birds in lay.

Augmented the hatching capacity by 1,00,000 chicks; totaling to 3,00,000 chicks per month.

Increased capacity to 24,000 female birds in lay.
