Mondkar Group Founded

The establishment of the Mondkar group of farms began with the creation of MKM Farms, which started with a modest capacity of raising 12,000 broiler birds.

2000
Began Wholesale Supply

The company pursued integration and expanded its capacity to 100,000 broiler bird placements per month while also starting the wholesale supply of live birds to local markets in Raigad district.

2005
Parent Breeder Project

The company launched a parent breeder project with a modest capacity of 4,200 female birds in lay, complemented by an in-house brooding facility and a hatchery unit. It sold chicks in the open market and also supplied its own chicks to the integration arm of the business.

2007
Capacity Increased

The company expanded its capacity to house 5,600 female birds in lay.

2009
Brooding and Growing

The company raised the capacity of its hatchery to four double setters (total capacity of 137,000) and two hatchers (total capacity of 44,000), resulting in a monthly production capacity of 200,000 chicks.

2010
Addition of Female Birds

The company further increased its capacity to accommodate 11,000 female birds in lay.

2013
Hatchery Capacity Increased

The company expanded its hatchery capacity to include four double setters (with a total capacity of 137,000) and two hatchers (with a total capacity of 44,000), thus achieving a monthly production capacity of 200,000 chicks.

2016
Brooding Facility

The company enlarged its brooding facility to rear three parent batches, each consisting of 10,000 chicks.

2017
Female Birds Capacity

The company increased its capacity to house 18,000 female birds in lay.

2019
Hatching Capacity

The company increased its hatching capacity by 100,000 chicks, bringing the total monthly production capacity to 300,000 chicks.

More Female Birds

The company further increased its capacity to house 24,000 female birds in lay.
